Wednesday 23. Visiting Dublinia + Christchurch Cathedral with the school

Dublinia is one of the best attractions in Dubling and a great place for a day out and combining fun with some learning about life in the medieval city and the world of vikings

Dublinia is a great learning experience.
We learnt more about the citizens of Dubling throughout the ages

We discovered the myths of the mysteries surrounding the Vikings and their legacy

I liked the part dedicated to the viking culture. You truly get a sense of Viking history and culture as well as medieval Dublin. Spectacular and very interactive, Dublinia museum :)

The gift and book shop in Dublinia museum

We became real vikings...LOL

They had a fantastic collection of books from the Viking and Medieval periods of Dublin and beyond, as well as some Archaeology books, for both adults and children

Dublinia is located at the crossroads of St Michael’s Hill, Patrick St, and Thomas St, in Dublin city centre. Dublinia is connected to Christ Church Cathedral by a footbridge

Resting next to the Christchurch Cathedral

Christchuch Cathedral, founded c.1028, is the spiritual heart of the city

I fell in love with Irish parks and gardens!

Arround this park, there are a lot of interesting buildings: the Houses of Government and Senate of Ireland, the National Gallery, the Museum of Archaeology, among others

It's a perfect maintained park with beautiful flowers, trees, etc.
And usually a lot quieter than Stephen's Green Park. I love it!

It's an utterly pleasant and relaxing place to wander around!

Chair erected in memory of the actor Dermot Morgan in Merrion Square.
Very curious the Dermot Morgan's throne!
