2- Malta (12th March 2020)

Walking from Sliema to St Julian’s Bay

View over St Julian’s bay with Portomaso Casino

View of the restaurants from near the love sign. Locals go to swim during summer at this location. There are still a few fishermen who tend to their boats and fishing nets during the day

Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Knisja tal-Karmnu

The Love Statue of Spinola Bay with accompanying love locks

Spinola Bay’s magic lies in its ability to feel so personable and unique to the individual whilst simultaneously creating equally distinctive and unforgettable moments for the thousands of other people it caters for at any given time

Malta's colourful benches

View of the Sliema front from Spinola bay. All along the area the beach is rocky but there are many locations along the promenade where you can sunbathe and swim with convenient ladders to go into the sea. Many locals have swam here since their childhood but now with the many foreigners live in this area you can see them everywhere. It is the nice location where you can relax

Bay Street Complex at the heart of the main entertainment area of Paceville open seven days a week up to 22.00. You can spend hours here shopping at the various clothes shops, boutiques, various entertainment and the variety of food offered at the restaurants at various levels overlooking the central square

All up, I had a great day out in St Julian’s & Sliema. There is always much more to see and do...  I would certainly recommend spending some time here when you visit Malta

Some guests visited me XD

The owner of the hostel was so nice. He brought food to my bed (for free)

Another day he brought me a pizza for dinner

A delicious pizza of the Mr Maxims Pastizzeria🍕🍕🍕

This is the authorization of the Embassy of Spain in Malta that
allowed me to leave the hotel to go to the airport on the day of return to Spain👇

18th March 2020 - The last day in Malta

Last photos before taking a taxi on the way to the airport

During my stay in Malta I was in contact with other trapped Spaniards who could not return. The day I left I met a girl who was about 10 minutes walk from my hotel and together we went by taxi to the airport

Already at the airport waiting for our flight...

Bye Malta...
