Located approximately 74 km south of Perth, the City of Mandurah is now one of the nations fastest growing regions.  With a population in excess of 74.500 people, Mandurah boasts some of the best waterways in Australia including world class residential canals and magnificent beach side mansions

Mandurah is also the gateway to other attractions within the Peel region. The regions warm and sunny climate allows for the enjoyment of many outdoor activities including crabbing, fishing, sailing, dolphin watching and swimming

Beautiful pet portraits! But $70... :P

With excellent views over the river, BBQ's, plenty of seating, shade and local coffee bars and restaurants this is a great playground to visit for playdates, birthday parties and family BBQ's and picnics

It's a real pleasure walking at the Mandurah Boardwalk

An Australian Pelican

He's known by the locals and is never seen with any other pelicans, always by himself

We got the picture with the pelican xD

Always a popular day-trip destination, Mandurah is a mix of inner city and semi-rural living. People come on holiday and then want to stay, which has resulted in Mandurah expanding to offer an exciting mix of residential developments, from family homes and modern apartments within new estates to luxurious homes nestled along numerous canal waterways

Enjoying the relaxed Maritime Vibe of Mandurah City

The city centre foreshore is home to a variety of wildlife including dolphins, pelicans, shags and an abundance of marine life like blue manna crab which has become synonymous with the area. Mandurah is also known for its protected waterways, beaches and boating and fishing activities

Mandurah Foreshore Playground. On the Eastern Mandurah Foreshore there is this lovely playground overlooking the river. The playground is fully shaded and based on a soft fall surface

Shopping in Foreshore. There are many shops in Mandurah

Mandurah Thomas Peel Memorial
The Thomas Peel Memorial located at the corner of Mandurah Terrace and Pinjarra Road near the Old Traffic Bridge. Unveiled on the December 11, 1955. Originally a 'Wishing Well' but now covered. The disconnected water pipes can still be seen

Enjoying a drink :-D

We enjoyed a lot in Mandurah, this popular coastal destination, about an hours drive from Perth, long time ago was purely known for its crabbing, prawning and holidays, but now it's a massive, thriving city. Boating and fishing is popular, and plenty of seafood is still regularly caught. It has plenty of great places to eat at, a lot of walkways to stroll down and plenty of room for some entertainment. I will recommend this place to everyone I know.
