Next to the Dolce Vita Shopping Centre
This is Funchal’s newest addition to the shopping scene. It has an excellent central location in downtown Funchal, next to the Santa Caterina Park, just 2 minutes away from the Marina and behind the main road Avenida de Arriaga
This is one of the most beautiful shopping centres which I've ever seen
Rua da Carreira
Rua Câmara Pestana
At the 'Largo do Colégio' (Colégio Square). The giant screens were installed here and in Praça do Mar where we watched the first and the third match
Travessa das Torres, near the University Residence
University Residence - University of Madeira (SASUMa) where I was accommodated

My room and my flags
Rua de Santa Maria, just steps away from the Residence
Bathing area
Ready for the game :-)
Av. das Comunidades Madeirenses
Avenida Arriaga
Houses in São Martinho
Blocks of flats where my friends live
Portugal vai Portugal...
Watching the decisive game with my second family.
We stayed at home to watch it and I spent the night there cause the game ended too late
I was focused on the match
Yeah... Portugal should win
GOAL!

Reactions after the second goal of USA
Dempsey scored in the 81st minute when midfielder
Graham Zusi sent a ball toward goal that the U.S. star redirected into the net
The second half was played at a much more measured pace until after the U.S. goals, when Portugal attacked with more intensity, searching for the score that would keep it from being eliminated from the tournament
Incredible! Portugal's Silvestre Varela scored on a strong headed goal deep, deep in stoppage time to give Portugal a desperate 2-2 draw with the United States in a key Group G World Cup match at Manaus, Brazil.
The goal, in the 95th minute, came off a cross from Cristiano Ronaldo, who showed no signs of a knee injury that was the subject of much media attention in the buildup to the contest.
Second-half strikes by U.S. midfielder Jermaine Jones and striker Clint Dempsey had given the United States a 2-1 lead until Portugal rescued its World Cup chances! But the chances were really slim...

Other week in Madeira... A tranquil day walking around São Martinho
Other week in Madeira... A tranquil day walking around São Martinho
Among the sights to see in Funchal, the capital,
is the CR7 store, located in the Ajuda neighborhood
Walking around the store
It sells clothes and accessories for men, women and children inspired
by Cristiano Ronaldo, which of course means things covered in the CR7 logo
Cristiano’s sister Elma is working there and she designs all of the articles,
and the most successful line is that for women. We saw her downstairs ordering t-shirts
There’s also an online store, in case you can’t make it to Funchal
The shop is posh and expensive but you can also find affordable prices
I bought an orange t-shirt with logo CR7
Next to CR7 store was this wonderful place full of goodies
I couldn't resist the temptation... xD
Many sweets!!!
Autocarro do CF Andorinha / CF Andorinha bus
